Each track has been assigned to a board of scholars in the field, belonging to the three organising Departments, which have assumed the responsibility of proposing an interpretation of the general call for paper aimed at orienting authors submitting papers. The track chair will be in charge of the selection of papers and of the organisation of the sessions and definition of the discussants. This in order to provide a vibrant exchange and discussion among participants.
The tracks are meant both as organisational and exploratory devices: authors are invited to suggest the track inside which they would like to present their papers. The track chairs will provide suggestions about possible intersections among the 4 tracks, for example organising sessions promoting confrontation among different points of views on the same topics. In fact they are not meant as closed disciplinary fields, but rather as possible different points of view and observation of contemporary society.
The track chairs encourage the submission of theoretical papers, of case studies, experiences and practices relevant to the debate, policy-oriented papers, reflections and also critical papers questioning current disciplinary approaches.
